Ilag Products

The solvent-based silicone coating brand for baking, Ilaflon®, was developed by Ilag in 1976 and has become one of the company's most important products.

Currently, two versions of this coating can be found: Ilaflon® Select and Ilaflon® Resist, both used in the industrial baking sector:

  • The silicone-based Ilaflon® Select system is perfect for use in baking and pastry molds, especially those containing sweet doughs. In addition to being non-stick, it has excellent chemical resistance, making it ideal for industrial environments. It is typically applied in a single layer and is available in various colors.
  • Ilaflon® Resist is a double-layer coating based on PES/PTFE, offering high corrosion and abrasion resistance, making it an excellent choice for heavy-duty industrial trays and molds. Its two-layer structure ensures greater protection and durability compared to other coatings.

The Durit® brand was created in 1987 and introduced a significant innovation in the field of coatings: the addition of plasma-sprayed titanium to the substrate to reinforce the coating. This allowed for a more resilient and durable coating in various industrial applications.

  • Durit® is a three-layer coating system based on PFA/PTFE with water and ceramic reinforcement technology. This system is widely used in the industrial baking industry due to its high resistance and durability.

The Swiss company's water-based PTFE dispersion systems are marketed under the Corflon® brand and are widely used in the baking industry due to their excellent non-stick properties and corrosion resistance. These systems consist of two layers.

Ilag offers a high-tech ceramic coating called Ceralon®, which uses sol-gel technology. This coating is mainly used in the production of hamburger buns and other bread products. One of the most notable advantages of Ceralon® is its surface hardness, as well as its low curing temperature, which prevents mold deformation due to the high temperatures used in other coating systems.
